About the museum
The Norwegian Olympic Museum is located at Maihaugen in Lillehammer. The museum takes you on a journey from the first olympic games until today.
The Norwegian Olympic Museum opened in 1997. The museum's purpose is to collect, preserve, document and do research on materials from the Olympic history, with highlighting on the Norwegian Olympic history and sports history in general.
